Ross was a full-time professional web developer for 10 years, before turning freelance. Following his degree in Internet Technology at Stafford University he worked as a Database Administrator, but quickly followed his passion of developing websites and became a developer. While he has done some work with other languages, he is strongest in (and prefers using) PHP. Most of his work has been developed in a XAMPP / LAMP environment, employing Apache, and MySQL. He makes regular use of Javascript, particularly JQuery and AJAX.

He has deployed websites using WordPress, CodeIgniter, Prestashop, Lemonstand, Magento, and Drupal in the past. Many websites have been developed as bespoke packages, but he has used WordPress most confidently.
